SN 2001ib was discover by M. Armstrong and R. Arbour independently. I took this using a 10" SCT. Sum of 18 images (10 seconds
each), using a F/6.3 reducer, on Dec 10th 2001 at 20:26UT. Camera was set to Hi-res progressive mode. The galaxy NGC7242 can be
seen with the Supernova marked by the two lines at bottom right of the galaxy. |
