Aurora images taken in 2000

The images I have taken below were of the Aurora seen on 2000/04/07. They vary in exposure, and were unguided. I used a 55mm lens set at f/2.2. I live in quite light polluted surroundings, so the images are not as good as from a dark site. I did not know it was happening until I got a phone call from a friend giving me the info. I went out to see it, but I was not sure if it was Aurora or sky glow from street lights. This was the first Aurora I had seen so I was not sure what to expect. These images were taken after the best was over. My camera was not ready, and by the time I had got a tripod etc., I missed the best of it!!!

Taken at 23:37UT for 5 seconds. I was roughly looking North. Film: Elite Chrome ISO 400.
Taken at 23:47UT for 5 seconds. I was facing South. Film: Elite Chrome ISO 400.
Taken at 23:51UT for 10 seconds. I was facing North. You can see a bit of a 'wibble' as I somehow knocked the camera! Film: Elite Chrome ISO 400.
Taken at 24:15UT for 10 seconds. I was facing North. You can see the very prominent streaks. Also a band of green under the Red. Film: Elite Chrome ISO 400.
Taken at the same time, but for only 5 seconds. Film: Elite Chrome ISO 400.
